Accessibility
Handicapped parking spots are designated on the westbound side of 17th Street next to our handicap accessible entrance. The entrance is noted as #10 on our Campus Map. Parking is easiest if drivers approach the Cathedral from Main Street.
Directions to Handicapped Accessible Parking
Heading EAST on I630 (from WLR, Midtown, Heights, and Hillcrest areas)
- Take Exit 1A for Center Street/Main Street.
- On the exit ramp move to the right lane to merge onto the access road.
- Continue straight on the access road through the intersections for Center Street and Louisiana Street.
- Turn right on Main Street.
- Turn right on 17th Street.
- Marked handicapped spaces are located on the right side of 17th Street between Center Street and Spring Street.
Heading WEST on I630 (from I30)
- Immediately after merging on I630 from I30, take Exit 1A for Main Street.
- On the exit ramp stay to the left and go straight onto the access road.
- Continue straight on the access road through the intersections for Cumberland Street and Scott Street.
- Turn left on Main Street.
- Turn right on 17th Street.
- Marked handicapped spaces are located on the right side of 17th Street between Center Street and Spring Street.
Accessible Entrances
The Cathedral
From the Handicapped Accessible Entrance there is an elevator up to the Cathedral where you will enter the South Transept. In addition there is a ramp to the Garth and Courtyard at the door to Pierce Chapel in the North Transept of the Cathedral.
Morrison Hall
A handicapped accessible ramp is located on the North side of Morrison Hall. This entrance is normally locked but can be opened from the inside by someone assisting from the main entrance.
Morrison Hall does not have an elevator.
Keller House (Administrative and Diocesan Offices)
A handicapped accessible ramp is located behind the Morrison Hall ramp. This entrance is normally locked but can be opened from the inside by someone assisting through the main entrance. This door will bring you through the Early Childhood Education Program. After entering, you will turn left at the first hallway through two sets of double doors and continue to the front of the building to the Administrative Offices area.
Keller House does not have an elevator.
Chancellors Hall
The main entrance to Chancellors Hall is accessible. Access can be gained by staying on sidewalk on 17th Street and Spring Street or by parking in front of Chancellors Hall on Spring Street.
Chancellors Hall does not have an elevator.

The Cathedral has a hearing loop system as well as assistive hearing devises. An usher can help you.
