The annual Independence Day Celebration and Picnic begins at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3rd at St. Margaret’s in west Little Rock. We are excited to announce that Pulaski County Sheriff Eric Higgins will be our guest speaker. Prior to being elected Sheriff, Mr. Higgins served the Little Rock Police Department for 30 years, including over 10 years as Assistant Police Chief. Chief Higgins has also volunteered with the Exodus Project, assisting inmates as they prepare to re-enter life and work after prison. After a festive worship service, all are invited to stay for a picnic on the grounds. The Men’s Group will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers outside on the grounds. There will be games and fun activities for all to enjoy. There will also be a parade… so decorate your bikes, wagons, golf carts, etc. and bring them out for the occasion!
